RICHARD SMITH DOLLAR REDESIGN PROGRAM

Roughly ten days ago we noted the hailing of the $1 bill as a design classic.
One that needed no re-conception, and would likely be immune from change.
Designer Richard Smith thinks otherwise. His redesign program is hinged on the belief that a new look for currency can help lift the economy.
Changing the look of US notes would work in step with a larger national rebranding scheme. Smith has come up with his own look, and wants the public to chime in with their own designs on his blog as well. (via DB).
